I ordered a new C-HR late May 18, and it arrived with no problems. The only gripe was it arrived with rubber sealent and compressor [as most cars do now] but when I ordered it I asked for a real wheel and tyre to match the other four. Call me old fashioned but I prefer a real wheel in case of a puncture, not a blow up and go to the nearest garage. A phone call told me it was available to collect, so off I went. A fitter came out of the garage to fit the wheel in the boot [complete with jack and wheel wrench etc]. When I got to my car there was a 'space saver' wheel, not what I ordered. So back to see the person at the service counter who asked me to wait while he got somebody to talk to about this, all the equipment and the space saver got took back to the garage. The person arrives and I tell him the story.
To which he told me the sealent and compressor are standard. the space saver had been ordered because I said that I would prefer a real wheel and tyre. I said 'to match the other 4'. He fetched the salesman who had taken the order who said he remebered me wanting a wheel to match the others. The person then tried all sorts to try and get me to accept the space saver - saying it would take time getting it. I can go to Burton-on-trent [their big works] and fetch one faster than it arrived. It would cost more, was the next question - it didn't matter it cost [quoted about £250 when I ordered the car, they didn't know exactly as nobody had asked for one before] the person looked it up and said about £460, bit of a difference, But I still wanted the wheel and tyre. it finally arrived without the jack or wheel brace etc. So what started off as excellent finished with me being disapointed with the service.
