I have purchased the S-Box pop-up knife box. It is extremely well made and engineered. It appears very robust and works very smoothly. Ads say it has space for 5 knives but all 9 of my knives (big and small) fit nicely. I wanted an uncluttered look for my new kitchen island and this is perfect. There was some very minor cosmetic damage to the first item I received but customer service was superb and sent me a replacement unit by the next post and picked up the defective one so I had no hassle at all trying to return it. Very expensive I suppose and takes up quite a bit of space under the worktop but I think it's worth it for the quality and no knives cluttering workspace or drawers.
