I ordered a tall chocolate sponge drip cake for my daughters 16th. When placing the order a day before the gentleman explained that I should have fruit on top only which I agreed too. When I went to collect first I was surprised as it was made the way he said it shouldnt be as fruit should only sit on top but this had fruit on side too. I could see it was leaning to one side due to weight of the fruit. I raised my concern and they said it would be fine. I drove home carefully and put in fridge. When I went to get the cake hour and half later. It had fallen to one side. At this point I could also see it wasn't a chocolate sponge. This caused alot of distress and embarrassment as this was my daughters 16th party. I always have my cakes from cake walk and couldn't believe how I was treated and my concern not taken seriously. I would trust a well reputable cake store to know if so much fruit was safe or not. As I was told when placing the order a day before that the fruit should only be at the top. And why such HUGE PIECES OF FRUIT USED.SO WHY WAS IT MADE LIKE THIS? I want this resolved as I spent good money for NOTHING It won't let me post a picture ON THIS REVIEW.
