Calm Canine Academy was recommended to me by a friend, so I was so happy when I reached out and met Nicole, who offers in-person training in New York City. My French bulldog puppy, Winston, and I had 8 in-person training sessions with Nicole, and we learned everything from basic commands including sit, down, & wait, to leash walking skills, crate training tools, and recall. I love that Calm Canine Academy uses only positive reinforcement with dogs, and Nicole truly helped me go at Winston’s pace to ensure that he got the most out of his training. We practice everything Nicole taught us on a daily basis, and Winston is growing up into such a calm, well-socialized dog. And anytime I have questions, Nicole is a phone call or text message away. Nicole recently stayed with Winston for 4 nights while I was out of town, and she took such good care of him; I think as happy as he was to see me when I got home, he was equally sad to see her go!
