My son and I visited Calumet in Manchester to look at a DSLR camera kit for video work. We have never shopped with Calumet before but found the details online and decided to give our nearest store a visit. Parking was free with plenty of available spaces. The store was clean tidy and all stock was nicely laid out with excellent hands on opportunity for all kit. We were given a warm welcome but didn't feel pressured. We had a good look round and then got chatting with one of the Calumet team. The service we received was nothing short of excellent. We were given many different options for both cameras and accessories. At no point in time were we pressurised into making a purchase, the focus (excuse the pun) was just on us being able to make an informed choice in a relaxed environment. After some time we were fully kitted out with camera and all the accessories we needed. Calumet were competitive on price but, more importantly than this, they offered us a level of service I have not experienced in a retail environment in quite some time, first class! In summary - modern retail with old-fashioned service. I will definitely be shopping with Calumet again.
