Advice from Carbon over the phone was good. After placing my order the gear arrived but stuff was missing. This was sorted promptly and the missing items arrived quickly which was appreciated. The bolts included for the fairlead with the Scout Pro winch are no-where near long enough though. I suspect this is because the Scout Pro comes with a new thicker fairlead but the bolts were to suit the previous thinner fairlead. When I mentioned this to Carbon I was made to feel like this problem was unique to me, that the bolts are correct and told that if I needed longer ones I would have to source them myself. To be honest I was just giving Carbon the heads up so they could maybe look into this before they had hundreds of customers contacting them about the same thing. I felt the response from Carbon on this could have been handled better. I got new longer stainless steel bolts and all installed nicely.
