Disappointed with Car Protection on Delivery to Poland I’ll give Carfast this: the website is easy to use, and having so many auctions in one place is convenient. It made bidding on a car and actually winning it pretty straightforward. But when it came to shipping a car from Poland to the USA, things went downhill fast. When my car arrived, I was stunned to find scratches on the hood and small dents on the sides. So I called Carfast, thinking they’d apologize and offer a quick fix. Instead, they told me that protecting the car with a wrap is an extra service that costs extra money. Really? You’d think shipping a car across the ocean would automatically come with some kind of basic protection. Instead, I was left with a ‘it’s an additional service that has to be paid for separately’ Sure, they offered me $100 to “smooth things over,” but that barely scratches the surface of my frustration. I expected transparency up front about these ‘optional’ protections, not after my car showed up looking worse than it did at the auction. So, if you’re planning to ship with Carfast, make sure you ask about every tiny detail—because it turns out that keeping your car safe isn’t exactly included in the package. Not impressed, to say the least.
