I was extremely impressed with the detail of Carfax's history reports. I recently purchased a new Chevy and I coudn't have found the right one without checking the vehicles history through Carfax. Previous dealers had tried to tell me their car was never in an accident by showing me their version of a history report. It was only when i searched the vin through Carfax that I could actually see that every vehicle had at least one serious collision. I was eventually able to find one free and clear of any incidents.
