I was shopping for a used car for my son who was graduating from high school. He will need a car to get to college. I had a budget and wanted to stick to it. Therefore, it was important that the car have no major issues. The only real way to tell is to run a car fax. I went to look at 4 different vehicles and there was one I really liked, but I waited to make an offer until after the car fax. It turned out it had more owners than the story I was given, and in addition, it it had odometer issues and more. Needless to say i was happy I didn't waste my money on that car. The one I did buy checked out nicely. I;d say the $49.99 was a small price to pay t save me loosing thousands.
