I was faced May 2014 with a write-off for my Volvo S80 4 door sedan because a young lady drove into my trunk at 55 mph on the Trans Canada Hwy.. I know very little about cars, except keeping them maintained. I do not like spending money and a car to me is a huge waste of money, but a necessity! I like a luxury car: leather upholstery, power door locks, air conditioning, good stereo, sound system, good handling, safety, enough power to pass in traffic, etc. My time is valuable and I dreaded looking for a new car to replace my Volvo. Anyway a neighbour told me about a older Mercedes I should look at and the first thought after seeing the car was go online with car fax to check it had no accidents. Carfax even supplied me past service history over 12 years ago for the car, which helped me make a decision to buy. I was impressed with Car fax data.
