We were looking to replace my Jeep Grand Cherokee with another SUV. I was looking for a Ford Escape AWD. The last two cars we have purchased I went to Carfax prior to my search. I will never buy a used vehicle with running Carfax first. I went to one dealer that had what I was looking for spoke with a Salesman told him what I wanted and he assured me the Escape was what I wanted. It was raining and I told him I would be back the next day unknowing to him I got the VIN. Went home ran the VIN through Carfax and found the Salesman was not being truthful needless to say I never went back. On the Carfax website a Ford Escape came up described exactly as I was looking for. We went to the dealer test drove the 2011 Ford Escape and it is now parked in our driveway.
