Peace of Mind?.In a nut shell this is what I received by using Carfax. I had done all of my research in looking for a safe and quality vehicle for my 16 year old daughter. She had her hopes set on a Chevy Avalanche, not your normal vehicle for a 16 year old girl, unless of course she tows a horse trailer. Through on-line websites I narrowed down the years and the models to avoid but there was still the nagging question as to the quality and history of the individual vehicle we found. I was amazed at the thoroughness of the Carfax report and happily read through years of service reports that were clearly listed in detail. I contacted one of the service center?s listed on the Carfax report and asked for clarification on a service that was listed as recently completed. The service center technician helpfully explained the extent of the service and as he remembered the vehicle, commented on its condition and quality and assured me that I was making a good purchase.
