CarFax is a great service. The report revealed that a car I was looking to purchase had been sitting for a couple of years. I initially purchased the report because I noticed the inspection sticker had expired two years ago, so I wanted to verify the current mileage with the last inspection, and my fears were confirmed and I avoided purchasing the vehicle.
