I didn't get all my carfaxes I paid for. I purchased the largest package. Buying a preowned car is a process. Im sure I clicked to agree to your terms, and Im sure your online terms like everyone else's is a thousand pages long that no one reads and absolves you from responsibly providing the services paid for because of unfair time limits. If I get 10. I should get 10 without limits of time. Sometimes we have things arise in our lives and buying a car has to take a backseat. However, when the time comes where I can look again, my remaining unused carfaxes should be waiting for me.
Also, carfaxes is too easily manipulated by dealers. I had looked a a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee at a dealer in Queens NY. The dealer had posted their own free carfax. Carfax came up with a roll back warning, it also warned of a possible data entry error. But the error was for 2 years in a row. When I questioned the dealer about the carfax, they got back to me hours later with a new carfax with the 2 years in question regarding odometer rollback deleted from the history. I understand not everything gets reported to carfax but nothing should be deleted upon request of a dealer trying to make a sale. Needless to say i didn't buy the jeep but I now view all carfax and car check reports with extreme scrutiny. However, I am still in the market and would like my remaining carfaxes that I didn't use since they're all paid for anyway. If not, its pretty much like you stole my money. Maybe not 100% if my money is stolen but a percentage is unless I get all my carfaxes. If you care about being honest and providing an honest service for the money you charged me, you'll allow me my remaining carfaxes.
