While looking for a reliable vehicle with good gas mileage for my daughter, I came across a Craigslist listed Toyota Matrix. Upon looking at car, it appeared to be in good condition with some bumps and bruises. I informed the owner that I would let him know the following day if and when i would purchase the car. What I found under that VIN number where numerous wrecks and the car being totalled. Owner had it rebuilt and tried to sell it to an unexpecting person operating in good faith. I sincerely am thankful for the service carfax provided to the point that I used the smartphone app on all the vehicles we were interested in until we found the correct car for my daughter.
