My daughter-in-law had picked out a great car by owner. When she asked if it had been in any wrecks he said, "not that I know of." I did a quick check on Carfax and discovered it had been in 4 wrecks and totaled on the fourth one. The owner had purchased it with a branded titled yet he said he didn't know of any wrecks. So glad Carfax helped us find a used car with a clean title and a maintenance list to back it up.
