I'm very happy I checked the car fax. I was about to buy a slightly older Chevrolet. I noticed what looked like a small amount of painted over rust near the wheel well. I decided to run a carfax just to see what comes up. I discovered it was originally from Missouri and spent most of it's life there.(where it already had 4 previous owners.) Where I live in AZ, there is no snow or road salt so cars rarely rust. I decided to look underneath the car when I went back for a second look and I noticed the frame was rusted out. I ran away from tht deal!
