The person selling the car said it was in perfect condition...no accidents, brand new transmission etc. I'm a single mother looking for a safe vehicle to commute to and geom work as well as drive my daughter to and from school. I don't know a trusted mechanic to go to and the information they can give me is limited on what he may be able to see. After looking up the carfax I discovered that the transmission had been changed 4x with the first time being months after it was newly purchased. It had been in accidents where the airbags deployed. It had a salvaged title and the price he was asking for was over the value of the car. Without carfax I would probably had believed him and bought the car. I would rather spend a little for a carfax than thousands on a car that i would later regret. Knowledge is power and carfax I feel I am informed decision! Thank you CARFAX!
