HI there I was shopping for a good used car for my Son and he did not have a lot of money to send so we had to look at a lot of car from private sellers. I was shocked to find out how many people are what I called car flippers. They buy a car at auction and clean it up and than sell it fast to make quick cash. Since car 10 ten years old don't need to list the mileage the title most are not listed on them. The 1st car we were ready to make a offer on I did not trust the title so I run the car fax So we took the car fax deal that we could get five car done instead of one. And lone and behold that car had 81000 more miles on it than the car read. We were ready to make offers on 3 more cars different cars until we ran the carfax on them. Thank God for the carfax all 3 had more miles on them than what the car said on it one was were at lease 25000-35000 different. So we just walked away from them .If not for carfax we would have got a car with the wrong mileage on it. So if you are buying from someone you don't trust RUN THE CARFAX it same you lots of headaches and money. The money we send was well worth.
