CarFax was a good investment for me. I needed a car in Florida and the best-looking car I could find of the needed make and model was in Indiana, nearly a thousand miles away. I had some photos of the car, but I needed to know more, so I eschewed the website's proffered history check and went with CarFax. Even though CarFax cost a bit more, it was worth it because it had more records. CarFax shows the car had been well maintained but also that it had a recent minor rear-end collision. Nevertheless, because the photos showed repairs had been completed, we bought the car and had it transported to us. Now that we have the car, have inspected it, and have driven it, we know we made the right choice. It is an excellent car.
