We had already been to a competitor and were turned off by the " double teaming" procedure that they employed. We knew what make and type of vehicle we were looking for but we were not familiar with any other dealers in GA as we are from Philadelphia. Our son recommended CARMAX since he had bought 2 cars from CARMAX, a Corvette and a Lexus. From the beginning of the process, we were more than impressed by the way our quest for an automobile was handled. Let me say that I literally hate car shopping. We met our sales rep, Wanda Mosely, at the door and although I was on the defense and ready to walk away at any moment, Wanda's attitude was unlike any car sale rep that we had ever encountered. There was no pressure at all. We sat at a computer terminal and found several vehicles to our liking, inspected them but none impressed us. We went on to select one from a remote location. It was delivered to the Kennesaw store within 48 hours. After test driving it we decided to purchase it. 2 or 3 days later the vehicle lost all power during a shopping trip. We immediately called the dealership, spoke with Wanda who had the car towed in. We subsequently found that there was a transmission problem. In the meantime Wanda had already begun to look for a similar vehicle, which she found at a more remote location, in the event that we decided to reject vehicle one, which we ultimately did. We were satisfied with the trade in value offered us for two cars. I would and have recommended Carmax to others and would purchase another Carmax vehicle myself.
