Carfax was great and very instrumental in my final decision for the VW Jetta I bought. I was able to check more than 7 cars before making my final decision on Carfax. In my final decision it was down to two cars and when I checked the Carfax, it was obvious that one of the vehicles has been passed to several owners in the last year or two.
