I was looking for a rather hard to find vehicle and was having no luck finding anything local, so I had to resort to shopping out of state. Purchasing a vehicle face to face is stressful enough, but doing it without seeing the seller OR THE CAR in person is quite a further leap up in stress! But that stress was significantly knocked down thanks to the information provided by the CARFAX report. The CARFAX records not only provided me with ownership history but they included service history (which showed the owners having been quite diligent in maintaining the car)! CARFAX is just plain-sense insurance. I wouldn't look to purchase another used vehicle (especially if it's one I cannot inspect myself) without a CARFAX report!
