CARFAX worked very well for us. We chose to purchase 5 reports, just in case we needed them. So happy that we did. As it turned out, the first 4 we either decided not to pursue the automobile based on the facts received, or the vehicle was sold by the time we completed our report. The last one worked like a charm. We purchased it after viewing the CARFAX and determining the 1995 vehicle with 113,000 was the actual miles. Based on this information, we took the vehicle out to our mechanic check the car out. It needed a bit of work. The dealer reduced the price for us and we proceeded to have our mechanic fix it. Upon completion it cost just a couple of hundred dollars more than we would have paid before checking it out fully. Thank you for the service you have provided CARFAX.
