I am very thankful for Carfax. I was getting ready to by a used car when I decided to check Carfax just in case. Sure enough, there was a problem with it that caused me to not by it. By using Carfax, I was able to see it's history and it just so happened that this car was a lease by SEVEN different companies AND while it was leased from the first company, it was 7 miles from the Louisiana coast DURING HURRICANE KATRINA! It was considered a natural disaster vehicle. I am so glad I didn't buy it! I ended up finding a better car that Carfax had a good report for!
