I was shopping to get another car for collecting and since I bought the unlimited package i was just fooling around and looked up my 40th anniversary corevtte convertible that I had bought about 15 years ago before the carfax became popular and so readiyl retreiveable. I was devastated as I found out that the collector car that I thought would be a good investment will no longer be worth anything as almost every warning was lit rwed on your carfax. It was in a collision and totaled. The engine was replaced and so was the transmission. The title was then scrubbed by the highly reputable collector car dealer that I bought it from as a all original numbers mathcing no issue car. it also has a waring on the odometer rollback as well. it shows the value of buying the report if I had it 15 years ago i never would have touched the car and now I am very comfortable with the Super Snake that I recenlty bought and nothing was an issue on the report. It is the cheapest insurance policy you can have for any car you want to buy!!!!!
