I had a choice of two cars on Craigslist, both 97 Corollas. One was recently posted, the other was already on Craiglist for a month. The cheaper one (ironically) showed a record of maintenance for the entire life of the car on the Carfax report. The other one (more expensive but in better condition body-wise and lower mileage) showed no maintenance at all. None. I went with the cheaper one despite the body appearance and higher miles. The other car is still for sale after over six weeks on Craigslist. Even more expensive Corollas are selling but not that one. It must have some other issues. Thanks Carfax for the decision assist.
