We purchased the 30 day edition of Carfax. We were looking to pay around $3,500 for a used vehicle. The first car we looked at, I wanted immediately. Thanks to the Carfax report, we found that the plates on the car had been switched to a newer year model vehicle. The second car we looked at had the mileage rolled back on the odometer. Woudn't have known without our Carfax report! The third car we test drove had been in a flood, but did the seller tell us that? NO, the Carfax report did! Finally we went with our gut and went to the dealership where we'd bought our very first truck. Clean report and two VERY happy customers!
