So I've never had a carfax account until recently. I was looking to buy this MDX that was beautiful, only had 120k on it, and it was a great deal. But my boyfriend insisted on us checking it out on carfax first. So I reluctantly spent the money and purchased a carfax. Boy am I glad I did!!!! That car had over 200k on it. Major odometer roll back! I confronted the seller about the mileage via text,but they decided to not respond. Carfax saved me a huge headache and a major disappointment. Needless to say, I will never buy another car without running a carfax first!!
