I have used CARFAX ever since its existence although I recently purchased a 2010 Mercedes Benz S550, I was told by the salesman he had the CARFAX details but he never showed it to me and I forgot to ask besides I trusted the brand. I totally regret it 3 days after I checked under the hood and some things just didn't feel right, then I decided to run the CARFAX record and OMG !! I brought the car back to the dealer and returned it, I was so glad they actually took it back otherwise would it be a nightmare, so never again, CARFAX is right tool when purchasing a car.
