Surprisingly, we were quickly approved and received an enthusiastic call from a sales representative, Callum John. He was helpful and seemed optimistic, finding a car we liked and gathering our details. The next day, we were instructed to link our bank account but had to resort to emailing bank statements. Despite promises of updates, we received no calls from Callum. We followed up multiple times, each time met with promises of a return call that never materialized. Finally, after several days of silence, Callum texted to say he'd been in meetings and would call at 11:30 am. This call never came. We noticed the car price had increased and informed Car Finance 247, only to learn we were declined by one lender but they'd try another. We received no further updates and ultimately gave up. While we understood potential rejection, we expected basic communication and honesty, especially since we expressed our low expectations from the outset. This experience left us extremely disappointed. Car Finance 247's initial approval and subsequent lack of communication were frustrating and unprofessional. Their claims about credit score impact also proved inaccurate, as our score significantly decreased. We would strongly advise against using their services and will be seeking financing elsewhere.
