I purchased a set of car mats for my Renault Grand Scenic, as my original Renault drivers mat had a hole in it. The reviews sounded great. However on receipt of the mats, I found them very flimsy, nothing like the sturdy original mats. I unfortunately threw the original mats away and put the new mats in. Within a week the front mats got grubby. I tried to hover as I had always done, but the bits did not hoover up moreover clung to the mats. I had to take out the mats and brush them to get them clean.. and each week that has happened. I complained about the mats, and asked for some compensation from Car Mats to hopefully buy rubber ones which hopefully would be better, Elliot who responded after seeing some pictures, advised that I soap washed and brushed them. He then offended me further by offering me a 5% discount on a new set, as long as they cost more than £30. I think I originally, like may others were offered a 25% discount.. so this was insulting. I was not given an option of money back either as an unsatisfied customer. Please do not waste your hard earned money by purchasing these mats. Customer service, and price and returns/ refunds was non existent. Saddened that I have had to write this bad review, but being offered a 5% discount to buy new mats, when I had been dissatisfied with the original order has given me little option.
