Recently purchased Hudson full size (oak) platform bed. It is very sturdy and I love the smell of the wood. I would have rated the bed 5 stars but for these shortcomings. All four connector slats were milled properly on one side but not on the other side. I had to drill out the other ends so the bolts and cross dowels would fit. Two inch screws were difficult to set into the headboard and footboard due to angle of screw slot. Some of the screw heads stripped due to the hardness of the oak. A pilot hole for each screw would help. Other then these issues I thought the bed was worth the money. Paul G.
