I purchased carpet and lino removal and replacement for a house. The contractors sent by carpet giant left the premises with supplies I provided (glue, grippers but even all the snacks I left them), pressurised me into paying them then and there but promised to come back in two days to rectify the snags. Two days later and they are not here, they are not picking up the phone and when I called from another number told me they won't come as I already paid them. I called carpet giant and was told by a director they would sue me for leaving a review or contacting my credit card provider and that their disclaimers do not cover doors catching the carpet, contractors failing to come as agreed and nicking my items. I presume the disclaimers also cover leaving debris all over the new carpet for me to clean up.
