Carphone warehouse branches should make a point of either removing each out of phone stock from display or place an updated sign daily notifying customers of their actual stock levels
I have been to both Hayes Middlesex branches this in an attempt to buy a phone.
informed that mostly all the selection I was interested in were not available.
it may not look as appealing for visual merchandising to display an empty shelf !but it would stop customers kept waiting ages having to enquire.
very disappointed and frustrated
