I ordered a new Iphone online via carphone warehouse which was a Christmas present - due to be delivered on the 23rd December. I received a confirmation email originally, but absolutely no communication afterwards (even to this day - 2 weeks later) to let me know there was a problem and it wouldn't be delivered at all. When I called them on the 23rd to ask where it was they were very unhelpful and simply suggested I reorder it. I then did so on the 27th December over the phone - which took a full 50mins and was chargedĀ£10 for - and I requested to keep my old number and gave the pac code again. I was clearly told that they would contact me if there was any problem with this... the phone arrived on time this time - but they didn't contact me to let me know they hadnt requested for my old number to be transferred, and I've waited 5 days before contacting them (going round in circles) only to be told that they never requested this so it will take another 3 or 4 days! ... good deals but terrible customer service and a complete lack of communication!
