AWFUL BANK….AVOID AVOID AVOID. Closed my account on 16th of February 2024. They sent me a Due Diligence Questionnaire in December 2023. I genuinely thought this was a scam email, as I’d recently been scammed so I ignored the email and thought if my account is blocked on the 20th Dec then I know it’s legit. My account wasn’t blocked, “I was right I thought, the dodgy looking word document was nothing more than a scam” fast forward to February, on a family holiday and my account is blocked. Stressed and anxious doesn’t come close, I was sick…wages, tax, VAT..rents etc etc… all I got from Cashplus…was “send an internal statement for another business account if the same name” which I didn’t have. After multiple emails They agreed on this occasion to send funds to a personal account. Finally I thought some progress. I can Pay ££££ falling bills due within weeks. I waited, waited nothing…called them AGAIN as they had now started to ignore my emails…Customer service “hang on I need to speak to the fraud team” FRAUD why the fraud team???
Fraud department rejected my personal account statement, why ask me to send it…does anyone know what the Jeff they are doing at this bank??? Fortunately I’d managed to open a new business Account during this time so they said send internal statement for this account and we will review it in 5 days and send your money back.
I’m still waiting for my money. I’ve never felt so close to checking out.
I haven’t heard a story where anyone got there money back yet?? This will ruin my business, all my staff also have families.
