Where do I start…. I ordered a bottle of Ashanti Rum as a gift on July 9th. My first contact with CaskCartel was on the 13th. Every communication I had from them was initiated by me and was lied to repeatedly about the shipping status of my bottle. I asked repeatedly starting at a week from ordering to cancel my order because it would not be received on time and each time I was told it already shipped and couldn’t be cancelled. Yet the website showed no activity and that the order was unfulfilled. When I asked for tracking I was told they would send yet I never received it. I called and emailed a number of times over the course of the next couple of weeks because no one would respond. Finally after 45 days from my order the website was finally updated to show “Refunded” and I received my money back. And as I suspected the bottle was not mailed contrary to what I was told repeatedly by their rep. I have since ordered from another site and received my bottle for less money, delivered in under 2 weeks.
