I would never use this company ever again... absolute con. Firstly, I was buying my son his first PC. I went with CCL as I thought they were a trustworthy and reputable company. I had used them in the past and have sank the better part of £3000 into them. I was not impressed by the cheapness of the materials and components used. In particular the screen, keyboard, mouse and headset. The keyboard in particular glitches out and has to be unplugged and replugged in to start working again. This isn't really what bothers me though. I change my sons computer and bought up. So essentially bought two computers but was going to get the lesser one refunded. Simple. I initially forgot to return a lead for the monitor. I arranged, with them to have this sent back separately... 1). It took over TWO MONTHS to get any kind of refund. 2). You can never get hold of Customer Services unless you have time to hold for an hour and they are, to be kind, slow if they bother to reply to you at all. 3). They lied about not receiving this lead back and insulting suggested I has sent a kettle lead in the second package, not the monitor lead. A complete lie that was absolutely implausible give that a kettle lead wouldn't have fit in the second package I sent back. 4). I called on one occasion as I had sent the lead back but hadn't received a refund. They said they had the monitor cable, they had found it and it was all correct "full refund will be paid". Chase it up a week later "no we can't find the cable". The finally the insulting lie, "the lead sent back was a kettle lead". 5). They deducted 10% of the computers. £82.99 for a monitor screen lead that I DID send back. Just enough that you can't put it through small claims court. I was willing to overlook some of the nuisance failures in the poor quality of their builds when I thought they were reputable. However, the truth is that they overcharge, they don't create a quality product or use the best quality materials for the money they are charging and they will look to screw you out of any money they can. That includes lying to get it. AVOID!
