I ordered and paid for a bike from ChainReactionCycles and received an order confirmation. 10 days later expecting to receive the bike I instead get an email telling me that they have cancelled my order due to some nonsense story about how their website stock doesn't reflect their actual stock. Interestingly, during that time the price of the bike increased on their website. I emailed ChainReactionCycles and asked if they could just bill me again and send me a bike when they get one, even if that were to take a couple of months. Their response to that was to tell me that they don't do pre-orders. I had ordered one already and they had confirmed it and kept my money for 10 days. How would this be a pre-order? After several back and forth emails, they just spat in my face with the offer of a $15 voucher.
