I ordered some items way in advance for an event. After over two weeks of no movement I tried calling and emailing customer service. Phone was busy every time. Email took multiple attempts and a few days before I got any response. What I did get was a confusing update on my package, but no explaition on why it was taking so long. Also no ETA on when I could expect delivery.
It's been almost another week and the items still have only made to California. I am in Oregon with still no ETA.
I no longer need the items as I went ahead a got a better outfit from another company with better service for less.
I have tried asking for them to just cancel the order and give me a refund. The email said they can't as it's already shipped. That I will have to return it once I receive it. The teitn procedure is complicated and I'll have to pay for the shipping costs although it not my fault.
I have read other people have had the same problem and don't get a full refund if any even if they do return items.
This has been a very costly lesson that I should only work with companies I am familiar with and they have accessible customer service.
In the same time I ordered from Chic me I have had three other companies send me orders no problem and been able to easily answer any questions I may have over phone.
If you're u have a good experience I am happy for you, but I. Not the only one who has had this very issue.
The outfit I ended getting through Banana Republic is adorable and I'll be every happy with it. Wish I had just gone there in the first place.
