Changed my car insurance to Chill. Went through a few weeks of uploading the same documents again and again, they assured me that all was in order with paperwork provided, then several weeks later they emailed to ask for more paperwork. Followed that up to be told all was 100% in order, then I received another email 3 months later demanding full payment as Close Brothers weren't able to provide cover for the short time remaining. Called Chill and they couldn't explain why I wasn't insured. The 'Automated' system was completely rubbish and I would not recommend them. Thankfully I had no reason to make a claim in the 4 months but there would have been serious doubts if I was actually insured. Cancelled the policy so I could move to a new provider.
