We were counting on receiving a delivery within 48 hours. The order was placed on Wednesday and still had not arrived by Tuesday. The sales person was very un-sympathetic and argued that 48 hours did not actually mean 48 hours. We requested a 48 hour turnaround when placing the order as it was crucial. When I called I was told that 48 hours was actually 2-3 working days! and this was clear in their terms. I have attached the terms and this is not what it said. Quote taken from Christies website: "United Kingdom: We use a 48 hour deliver service to UK mainland. We ask customers to wait 3-4 days before contacting us if not delivered. If you need a faster service (24 hour) please contact our sales team before placing your order online for further details. If your order needs to go on a pallet (table, bath, cages etc..) we will have to contact you before dispatch to go through the pallet delivery procedure and confirm a suitable delivery day" Very disappointed with the customer care
