I am totally in love with shiny make-up, although I don't have much opportunity to go out right now 😁 The Marbled Metals eyeshadow ( I'm gonna call it "MM" or of laziness going forward) costs more than I normally spend for this type of product, but wow, is it worth it! The only thing that comes close is those older pigment pots from Barry M, but they are notoriously easy to spill everywhere and usually need careful priming, application and reapplication to stay put. The MM range can be a little hit and miss when it comes to longevity, but it almost doesn't matter when it's so easy to reapply - if using a strong colour then I strongly suggest starting with eye cream, eyeshadow primer then a long lasting or waterproof cream eyeshadow in a similar colour. If you're using the emerald shade, try using gel liner (the type that comes in a pot) on the lid, roughly blending just past the crease; then apply the shadow over the liner with your finger before it dries. If it's a less intense colour then you can try wetting an eyeshadow brush with setting spray before "painting" the colour into the lid. You can also mix the shadow directly into an eyeshadow primer. However, applying MM shadow with a brush doesn't give a strong metallic sheen, so make sure you dip your ring finger back into the shadow then go over the lid, almost "massaging" the colour onto your lid. Them spray a tiny bit more setting spray once you're done. Interestingly the result with a brush is less intense than using your finger! Otherwise, the sparkly lipsticks (sorry, I can't remember the name!) are beautiful - one purple shade is called Elektra and I've honestly never seen anything like it - of course I'm not counting literally painting glitter onto your lips. Finally, been using the Make-up Melter a ton - I prefer to use micellar water to cleanse, so using a little of this beforehand dissolves all the products on my face in one go, ready to be wiped off with a pad soaked in micellar water. I know you're not technically supposed to use it that way, but it really works for me, especially if I've been using a strong eyeshadow!
