Several 30 year old videotapes lay forgotten at the back of my cupboard, until my grown up sons insisted that I transfer them to DVD before they perish. I am glad I did. Unlike other firms, who merely transfer every single videotape to a separate DVD, VideoMagic actually transferred 12 of my old SVHS-C tapes on to a single DVD, creating titled chapters with thumbnails all the way. Brilliant! This avoids the need to individually eject and insert 12 DVDs in order to watch the copied tapes. And it also negates the problem of storage space, considering that I have ever so many old tapes to transfer. Thus these are not robotic machine to machine transfers, but involves a significant amount of human input, which Colin does with care. He also provided me with a mp4 copy of the final DVD on a USB flash disk, which other firms won't do. MP4s are so universal & so portable, that I can now take these nostalgic videos wherever I go. Also, the quality of the transfers are impeccable. Colin also provides a very personal service and will try to accommodate your every need. Video magic prices are by no means cheap, but remember you get what you pay for. Your precious tapes are taken great care of. Highly recommended. And finally, this was such a rewarding exercise just to see the joy and laughter on the faces of my grown up kids.... as they re-lived their childhood. I now have a permanent audio-visual storage of their past. Can't wait to see my grandson's face when he watches the antics of his "kiddy daddy"! Worth every penny! Thanks Colin.
