I purchased a ring online but when it went through on my credit card the exchange rate was in a different currency, so between that and duties it cost me almost double what I was expecting to pay. I was offered a small rebate as a “token of goodwill”, but was offered the same rebate in an ad for new purchases on Facebook only days later, which made the gesture feel hollow. The ring itself is nice, although it has some defects that look like scratches on it, which I was not expecting after paying the amount that I paid. The ring is nice overall, but ended up being very expensive for what it is. I would consider returning it if I did not think it would be a complicated process. Although they were polite and responsive, I would not order from this vendor again.
