I recently attended the 'Paint-A-Piece' Beginner's Furniture Painting Workshop, which was held in Claire's shop/workshop space. It was such an enjoyable day. And the workspace was perfect. There were two other students in attendance, we worked alongside one another on a spacious work bench, Claire spoke to us all as a group and individually to discover what we were all hoping to take away from the experience. And throughout the day, we would stop to look at different painting styles or briefly at complimentary styles and enhancements such Stenciling or ways with Decouparge. We were given the choice of paint brand and composition to use on our mini-projects, Claire let us experiment with a few different styles and techniques. Being in the shop was really interesting. Claire has a wealth of knowledge to share with everybody. The day was relaxed, the chat around the table was really great, and added to the comfortable, welcoming vibes. ..there was also on tap refreshments, a really great lunch, fresh, home made bread and afternoon tea and cake. This course far exceeded my expectations. I was buzzing all the way back home. I think we all learnt a lot from the workshop. I would go again tbh. 11/10
