I am super happy that - despite my hesitation due to the money - I decided to do the Road to Mustang tour. It was an unforgettable experience and well worth it. Willi was a great guide for us, who led the group with a lot of experience, composure and always a smile on his face. Pawan, who also accompanied us at times, was a perfect addition, adding spice to the route and never getting tired of answering our questions about his country. We drove many great routes, gained interesting insights into Nepalese culture and I have fond memories of many great encounters with Nepalis. Special thanks go to the tireless support team: Ramesh, Sonan, Ram and Manesh, you did such a good job and had our backs in all matters. Thank you! I have two small points of criticism: I felt that some of the daily trips could have been longer, but perhaps not everyone felt that way. The choice of hotels was always absolutely fine to great in terms of accommodation, but I personally sometimes missed the Nepalese food. I don't travel to a country like this to eat Western food. My extended stay in Nepal gave me the opportunity to immerse myself even deeper in the country and get to know the people. It was definitely hard for me to leave Nepal. Best regards Mik
