The admin assistant kept telling us that we had to register the death of my mother on line which was totally incorrect. I took clothes to her for my mother to be cremated in. The admin phoned me 2 days before the funeral to ask me if I wanted the clothes disposed of even though she had listed them on a form and I had to sign to say it was an accurate record. I asked to collect the ashes from the crematorium because it’s only 2 miles from where I live she insisted that I asked to collect them from the funeral directors which would mean driving 14 miles to Bedford. Now I’ve got to complete an additional form before the crematorium will release the ashes to me. This incompetence has caused a lot of additional stress at a dreadful time.
