I bought many products on this envato website over the last few years, recently i purchased a $79 theme from their website and decided to get a refund, I contacted the seller for a refund and they were happy to approve it on their end but I had to wait for ENVATO to submit and process it as well back into my paypal account. Nearly a week passed by and noticed they sent me an email that they were having an error processing my refund and they also closed my ticket because I did not reply to their email in 2 days, now I don't have a refund that I been waiting for and as well they closed the ticket! HOW UNPROFESSIONAL!!! So I decided to fix the situation myself by disputing the transaction with PayPal and i submitted to Paypal all the screenshots that I had with ENVATO's customer service rep named Juan Velazquez who was the one who closed the ticket and said in the email:
"Hello Randy,
When processing the refund we received an error message, our specialists have reached out to PayPal to see what's causing the issue. In the meantime please check your account to confirm there are no issues.
Best Regards,Juan"
I responded to Juan that my paypal has NO ISSUES, in fact, i received a refund from another merchant recently so it was on their end! I then proceeded
to start disputed with paypal and as soon as I submitted the dispute, ENVATO instantly blocked my account and now I have no refund atm and as well ENVATO robbed me of all the licenses I purchased over the course of years worth hundreds of dollars. This platform needs to get investigated by the government and people need to BEWARE OF THEIR SERVICE, if you expect a refund, they will give you a hassle!!!
